Fundraising for Political Science Majors Starts Early

Friday, July 13th, 2007

Many policy and decisions makers, and some of the country’s most influential people, got their start by studying political science. If you plan to major in poli sci in college you better hit the campaign trail early if you’re interested in receiving political science scholarships. Most colleges offer political science scholarships through their political science departments. These grants, fellowships and awards are often given in honor of alumni or local community leaders. The big political science scholarship bucks, however, lie with national organizations, many of which fall into the public policy center/institute/endowment arena. This is a double edged sword. On one hand, there are lots of institutes with lots of scholarship dollars to pass out. On the other, most of the scholarships pull applicants from across the nation so there is plenty of competition. For more information about political science scholarship.

Sean Hannity - Multilateralism is Bad!

Monday, January 22nd, 2007

As Americans face the ongoing war against terrorists and their state sponsors around the world, Sean Hannity reminds us we must also cope with the continuing scourge of accommodation and cowardice at home. With his trademark blend of passion and hard-hitting commentary, he urges Americans to recognize the dangers of putting our faith in toothless “multilateralism” when the times call for decisive action. He believes that only through strong defense of our freedoms, at home and around the world, can we preserve America’s security and liberty in the dangerous twenty-first century.

In his audio book ‘Deliver Us From Evil’ he uses his plainspoken, take-no-prisoners style to the continuing War on Terror abroad - and liberalism at home.

“Evil exists,” Hannity believes. “It is real, and it means to harm us.” Tracing a direct line from Adolf Hitler and Joseph Stalin through Saddam Hussein and Osama bin Laden, he reminds us of the courage and moral clarity of our great leaders. And he reveals how the disgraceful history of appeasement has reached forward from the days of Neville Chamberlain and Jimmy Carter to corrupt the unrepentant leftists of the modern Democratic Party — from Howard Dean and John Kerry to Bill and Hillary Clinton.

Air Force Records Used To Solve Mystery

Saturday, November 18th, 2006

He had a charmed life according to air force records. Many times everyone around him would be destroyed, while he would limp back to the base, his plane badly damaged but still flying. In neither of his crashes did he receive so much as a scratch.

Richard M Nixon

Tuesday, May 30th, 2006

This is the silliest of associations I have with that name, Richard M. Nixon, as I was in high school when the 37th U. S. president was waving his phony peace signs and mumbling as if he had marbles in his mouth that he was “not a crook—both becoming signature marks for the fallen president of the United States. I recall actual silent periods in Latin class, for instance, when we would de-rail from our declensions and go into grave, oppressive quiet time once the overhead speakers piped the latest news on the infamous Richard M. Nixon, interrupting our “normal class periods.
Yes, he has been made fun of, has been villanized and glorified equally by left and by right…. He was an iconic president, for numerous reasons, that is. Richard M. Nixon was responsible for issuing policy that brought price control and established SSI (Supplemental Security Income). Richard M. Nixon made electronic spying of the Big Brother of George Orwell’s 1984 a reality by spying and bugging (Democrats and others, including his own people) and bringing about his impeachment.
