Article Support Our Troops
There’s no reasoning involved here. The only thing we could/can do is retaliate. For those who fail to understand this, let me make it simple. An aggressor assaults you on the street. You can either fight back and try to survive or you can let him kill you. I choose to fight back. Unfortunately running away is not always an option.

Based on extensive research in both American and British archives, 1776 is the story of Americans in the ranks, men of every shape, size, and color, farmers, schoolteachers, shoemakers, no-accounts, and mere boys turned soldiers. And it is the story of the British commander, William Howe, and his highly disciplined redcoats who looked on their rebel foes with contempt and fought with a valor too little known. But it is the American commander-in-chief who stands foremost — Washington, who had never before led an army in battle.

After the war, the U.S. Marines were broken up and disbanded in 1783 but were reorganized in 1798. The U.S. Marine Corps Hymn says it all. Soon after reformation, U.S. Marines fought in and captured Tripoli in North Africa. During the Mexican- American war, the U.S. Marines were there at the “Halls of Montezuma” guarding the Mexican Presidential Palace. 79,000 served in World War I and almost 500,000 fought in World War II.

In the mid-Sixties Barry McGuire wrote and performed a song that was to become the mantra of our Apocalyptic times. The first verse of McGuire’s hit song is as follows:
The eastern world, it is explodin’,
Violence flarin’, bullets loadin’.
You’re old enough to kill, but not for votin’.
You don’t believe in war, but what’s that gun you’re totin’?
And even the Jordan river has bodies floatin’.
But you tell me
Over and over and over again my friend,
Ah, you don’t believe we’re on the eve of destruction.
It will come as no surprise that the title of McGuire’s 1965 hit song was Eve Of Destruction . . .

David Allen: Crusade is a new MMOG in development that takes place in a unique fantasy world where the player chooses a racial and class combination that represents one of two diametrically opposite sides, both fighting each other for domination. Deities also play a critical role in the game, as players can become patrons, and receive boons that empower or dis-empower their characters. Realms within the world are also controlled by specific deities, so as players travel the lands, they may encounter strategic beneficial or detrimental areas based on their patronage.
