As there are more candidates every day announcing their candidacy for President, it’s more important than ever to make sure you know who you elect. Listening to the audio book ‘ Arkansas Mischief: The Birth of a National Scandal‘ might be a good way to refresh the memory.
I just finished this one…. makes you think if Hillary is really the best choice?? Now I’m listening to ‘People’s History of the United States‘. This audio book goes back a bit further, and it seems it will lead me right to the ‘War on Terrorism’ of these days. Compelling stuff, and the parallels to todays events is amazing! Definintely recommended listening!

The US has temples from New York City down to Tennessee. There are several in England and one in Scotland. Other Buddhist temples are in India, Thailand, Nepal, Singapore, Canada and Bhutan. Many temples around the world are still working temples with monks observing all the rituals. They can be heard chanting and using bells and gongs. The story of the religion is often depicted by symbols, which are associated with the life of Buddha, and these appear in the Buddhist temples.

There are other reasons why people seek name changes. Possibly they are just unhappy with their name and want to change it to something else. This is okay as long as it is not being changed with some type of fraudulent intent in mind. In other words, people cannot change their names or assume the identity of another simply to avoid creditors or other type of legal action. Name change requests cannot be offensive, as in a racial slur, or be intentionally confusing. So with this in mind, how did Prince change his name to an unrecognizable symbol if it’s not allowed?

From 1941 to 2003 Alistair Cooke was the British voice in America. The most important of his reports are compiled in three volumes of the ‘Letter from America‘, great audio books and time documents.
Many Britons thought that Alistair Cooke was American, but to the Americans he was the quintessential Brit, the man who brought them the best of British television as presenter of Masterpiece Theatre. For his part, he explained, “I feel totally at home in both countries.”
Alistair Cooke impressed both audiences with his high quality work. With his unquenchable curiosity, Alistair Cooke remained for decades the consummate broadcaster, an elegant writer and a man of enormous wit and charm who made sense of the American Century.

As Americans face the ongoing war against terrorists and their state sponsors around the world, Sean Hannity reminds us we must also cope with the continuing scourge of accommodation and cowardice at home. With his trademark blend of passion and hard-hitting commentary, he urges Americans to recognize the dangers of putting our faith in toothless “multilateralism” when the times call for decisive action. He believes that only through strong defense of our freedoms, at home and around the world, can we preserve America’s security and liberty in the dangerous twenty-first century.
In his audio book ‘Deliver Us From Evil’ he uses his plainspoken, take-no-prisoners style to the continuing War on Terror abroad - and liberalism at home.
“Evil exists,” Hannity believes. “It is real, and it means to harm us.” Tracing a direct line from Adolf Hitler and Joseph Stalin through Saddam Hussein and Osama bin Laden, he reminds us of the courage and moral clarity of our great leaders. And he reveals how the disgraceful history of appeasement has reached forward from the days of Neville Chamberlain and Jimmy Carter to corrupt the unrepentant leftists of the modern Democratic Party — from Howard Dean and John Kerry to Bill and Hillary Clinton.

Hillary Clinton announced on her website today that she will consider a presidential candidacy for 2008. This was to be expected and certainly brings drive to the Democrats battle to regain power.
In the audio book ‘The Case for Hillary Clinton‘, longtime political analyst Susan Estrich argues that no candidate even approaches the power and promise of Hillary Rodham Clinton , the senator from New York. Both a passionate spokesperson for progressive values and a strong advocate for our troops overseas, Clinton has used her time in the Senate to establish herself successfully as a genuine political powerhouse. And she offers Americans a once-in-a-lifetime chance to break the world’s most prominent glass ceiling and elect a female president of the United States.

‘Broken Ground’ a great audio novel I recently listened to: The story is about Kathe Shalk, who after living in America for many years, returns to Berlin to try to come to terms with the Berlin of her youth.
Her journey from America to the broken ground of contemporary Germany becomes an act of recovery: of lives intertwined by politics and passion, of memory and the invented self, and of Kaethes search for a daughter lost to her, now grown and living in uncompromising isolation from her mothers past and present, somewhere in vast, resurgent Berlin.
This made for highly captivating listening, the audio book - even though it’s fiction - paints a good picture of todays political landscape in Germany, the conflicts between the USA and the old world and shows how people can be caught up in this.
Good listening!

Website writing must take in the entire scope of your site. You have to
consider ease of navigation and take in all aspects of the design of
your site. Intricately weave text and format into the page.
As the website writer you must set aside time to think deeply about
what you see. Do not just gloss over the site. Drill down deep and
consider yourself a website visitor. These two components must capture
your visitor.

In the audio book ‘All The Best, George Bush‘, that is read by the President himself, with Barbara Bush, Dorothy Bush Koch, Marvin Bush, Neil Bush, George P. Bush and Jonathan Bush, you will gain insight about an unknown part of former President Bush (senior).
Though reticent in public, George Bush has openly shared his private thoughts in his correspondence throughout his life. Organized chronologically, the volume begins with eighteen-year-old George’s letters to his parents during World War II when, at the time he was commissioned, he was the youngest pilot in the Navy. Listeners will gain insights into Bush’s career highlights - the oil business, his two terms in Congress, his ambassadorship to the U. N., his service as an envoy in China, his tenure with the Central Intelligence Agency, and of course, the vice presidency, the presidency, and the post-presidency.

Personal goal setting is a powerful tool for setting a course for a
meaningful and fulfilling life. The process of personal goal setting in
itself is powerful enough so that if you are going through with the
process you might think that your lifes meaning or purpose had been
found. But it is not. The euphoria is only a result of your self
finally realizing that you are on the right track.

The thing about Japan is that we’re always doing business with them. This is why so many Americans strive to learn how to speak Japanese, as opposed to Spanish. For example, my wife’s company is Japanese owned. Therefore it is prudent to take the initiative and learn how to speak Japanese. Although she is still fairly basic, she has acquired a great deal of instruction from the computer programs you can buy. Were you aware that you can purchase software that will teach you a foreign language?

The power of this article directory is in what it can do for the writer
in its ability to target your audience. This is because of the simple
fact that the publishers that are looking at your articles are
interested in what you have to say. They, in turn, provide an audience
for your articles on their websites and newsletters and the people that
read them are also people that are specifically looking for what you
have to offer. This is something that you cannot get through any other
medium.

The theme of this blog will be an attempt to point out how society is smothering us with collectivist ideas. This is nothing new. All throughout history, great nations arose only to deteriorate in an attempt to keep order by stifling individual thought and creativity.
The disturbing thing is that this nation was designed to be a haven for rugged individualists. That’s what made us into a superpower. This vision seems to be deteriorating with time. We seem to be allowing more socialist and fascist ideas to shape laws and regulations all in the name of security. We seem to have some kind of need for somebody to take care of us.

Narrator : David McCullough
Publisher : Simon & Schuster

Type : American Pre 1900
Based on extensive research in both American and British archives, 1776 is the story of Americans in the ranks, men of every shape, size, and color, farmers, schoolteachers, shoemakers, no-accounts, and mere boys turned soldiers. And it is the story of the British commander, William Howe, and his highly disciplined redcoats who looked on their rebel foes with contempt and fought with a valor too little known. But it is the American commander-in-chief who stands foremost — Washington, who had never before led an army in battle.

Types of Water Filters
There are numerous types of water filters on the market claiming to clean your water, and most do a good job. Consider, however if you have the need for a water filter on your faucet, what is happening inside the waterlines of your house while the water is traveling to the faucet. A house water purifier can eliminate the need for filters at the faucets, while protecting your pipes.
Water filters installed at the faucets, whether above or below the countertop, removes the scale, calcium and other impurities in the water which can cause a nasty taste. Drinking filtered water may be better for you, but that scale and rust can build up in the water pipes over time and cause additional damage. Additionally, a house water purifier can also remove and bacteria a water filter usually misses.
