As a prospective vegetarian, you probably question
whether or not it really matters if you stop eating meat.
You might wonder how much of a difference one additional
vegetarian can make.
And while it might be true that one vegetarian won’t make a
huge statistical difference in a world of meat-eaters–
and while it is also true that one more vegetarian
probably isn’t going to turn the tide in the movement–

We gather to celebrate life, and family, and those we love. We gather to enjoy good food, good conversation and good company. We reminisce about past holidays, remember those we love who are no longer with us, and plan for the future. We share photos, we share gifts, and we share laughs. At Christmas Time we look for the innocent sparkle in our children’s eyes as we help them to create their own memories, and tuck them soundly into bed with a smile on their faces as, “visions of sugar plums dance in their heads.
No matter our age, our race, or our nationality - No matter our heritage, our upbringing, or our traditions - At Christmas Time, we live, we laugh, and we love. So don’t say Happy Holidays - or Seasons Greetings - say it out loud - say Merry Christmas!

High cholesterol foods with high saturated fat content can increase your LDL (bad) cholesterol level unlike any other in your food. Decreasing your saturated fat intake is a big step towards reducing your cholesterol levels. This also point out that a low cholesterol diet from low cholesterol foods are not as harmful as the saturated fat content.

Discussion boards are not all happy places. On almost any board you find, there are people who are looking for trouble. These are commonly called trolls. Trolls go from board to board trying to stir up trouble just for the sake of doing so. They may go onto a board for that sole purpose and nothing more. Trolls and other troublemakers will even target discussion boards you may think are tame, like one for The Wiggles or other children’s shows. Many have found discussion boards as places to scam others, so use care in your communications …

Dry skin problems are nothing new to many of us, and in most cases amount to little more than a mere nuisance. However, as the skin is often a large factor in how people perceive us, we tend to take its appearance quite seriously. This is precisely why billions of dollars are spent every year on moisturizers and other skin care products. While dry skin problems may be quite common, there are a number of factors that increase outbreaks, including age, sun exposure, bathing habits, gender, and the environment.

If you ask around, you’ll get a lot of different opinions about tattoos, both pro and con. Many people use tattoos to help express who they are and what they’re about, completely endorsing tattoos and what they endorse. However, you’ll also get people who are completely against tattoos and couldn’t imagine who in their right mind would allow something to be permanently inked on their skin. Both sides seem to have valid points.

Bad breath is not merely just a social nuisance—it can signal the start of a very serious medical condition known as gum disease. Most sufferers rule out bad breath to something they ate or “just something they were born with, which is quite unfortunate. However, when bad breath is a chronic condition, it is time to start looking at the situation a little closer as it might be a warning sign of a larger medical issue.

One parenting board I used to frequent had one particular woman who was a long-standing member. Her life seemed to be full of drama, and she continually talked about leaving her husband, and how horrible her life was. She gained a lot of sympathy from many of the board members, and many felt they needed to watch over her. What happened next is a common story on some Discussion Boards. There are two approaches used to motivate people to be compliant with the rules and regulations of child car seat safety. The negative approach is exemplified with the above examples of a tire blow out or a deer running in front of the vehicle. Other ways to take a negative approach to motivating parents to obey child car seat safety regulations is to sue the law to intimidate them to follow through.
It may seem as if laws would be unnecessary to get parents to follow through with the proper procedure of strapping little ones into car seats when traveling. However, research shows that a negative approach that focuses on possible fines and penalties actually works against the cause. People are less likely to obey if they feel forced to do so.

John Lennon, I think, started the trend of a Christmas song with a higher consciousness - with “And so this is Christmas, and what have you done? and “And so this is Christmas (war is over), for weak and for strong (if you want it), the rich and the poor ones, the road is so long…. Imagine (or remember) how those frolicky, campy, or solemn and religious Christmas songs now had the words “war and “fight directly stated rather than implied? Stunning.
